Graduate Manager – Drake University Women’s Basketball Team
The position of Athletics Graduate Assistant is a student employment position with Drake University.
This position prioritized assisting the marketing department, social media management, sports photography, and video content creation.
Job responsibilities also included assisting coaches and full-time support staff members in administrative and managerial duties; and assisting with preparation for practices, game management for home games and team travel responsibilities.
Digital Producer – KWQC TV 6 News (Gray Television)
The role of Digital Producer at KWQC focused on the creation of web content, writing, and social media direction for station pages across a variety of platforms. The position was held during the prime time shift of 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The position also assisted in graphics based content creation, live streaming video coverage, breaking news coverage, and assisting in getting in house shows to air.
Additional tasks included producing the “Highlight Zone” segment of local Friday night football for the 2018 season, feature story video releases and their promotions, The 2018 coverage of the Bix Road Races, and assisting with midterm 2018 election coverage.
Video Producer – Meredith Corporation
This position encompassed a schedule of preproduction, on set art directing, editing with graphics, and revising 10 to 15 videos every two weeks. Additional regular expectations included assisting with the corporate video needs of the Des Moines location of the Meredith Corporation and handling corporate sponsored Facebook lives.
